We love our new Tempur-pedic mattress. My husband and I usually toss and turn frequently throughout the night but since getting our new mattress we now sleep more soundly without tossing & turning. We also love the adjustable frame.

We purchased the ProAdapt Medium Firm mattress about four weeks ago after deciding to invest in a higher-quality option for my lower back pain. In the store, it felt like the perfect level of support-similar to my son's medium firm mattress (a different brand) that I sleep great on without any pain.
While the mattress is clearly very high quality, it does feel noticeably firmer than what we experienced in the store. I expected a slight difference, but this was more significant. During the first couple of weeks, we woke up with upper back and shoulder soreness (side & stomach sleeper). We were advised to allow time for a break-in period, and that adjustment discomfort was normal.
The mattress has started to soften slightly, and we're hopeful it will continue to improve. Overall, it's a great mattress, but be prepared for it to feel firmer than expected at first.

This is the most comfortable bed I've ever had! I'm 84 with cancer and multiple joint replacements, so getting comfortable, deep sleep, was a challenge. MUCH better now! I don't have the need for extra things to keep me comfortable. It's truly amazing. I wake up each morning feeling so rested. I'd highly recommend Tempur Pedic. Brandon was my sales person who was so kind and understanding of my situation. He took time to make sure my needs were met.

We've had our king Tempur-Pedic for about 3 weeks now, and both my wife and I are quite happy with our choice. The bed is comfortable, and certainly more so that our prior mattress, which had built up a hump in the middle of the bed, which made sleeping problematic.

I was so undecided. Jerald and Paul made it easy for me, by helping me choose the right mattress. I tried several different models, and firmness, and finally, after talking with my physical therapist, knew I was making the right decision. I've shopped with Mattress Firm in the past, and was satisfied then, so I went to them again, and was totally satisfied from the minute I walked in the door, 'til the delivery was made just minutes ago. Haven't slept using this mattress in over 3 weeks. Will be returning after the so-called 30 day break in period is over. I have awoke up each day with more body pain than I ever had with our previous mattress. I will not be recommending a tempurpedic mattress to anyone. Terrible. Mattress got delivered and I noticed that the brand new sheets were too big for the mattress. I measured it and noticed that it is only 72 inches wide. King size mattress is supposed to be 76 inches wide. I reached out to Tempur-Pedic about warranty and they stated that I had the "improper bed frame" and that it cant be covered under warranty....I then screenshot on their website exactly what is required for a slatted bed frame and proved to them that I have the proper bed frame. I then explained to them that this is not a bed frame problem, not an owner problem, not a delivery company problem. This is an issue direct from the factory. A mattress doesnt just magically shrink 4 inches within 1 second of being delivered. Tempur-Pedic still refused to do a single thing about it. I would never recommend purchasing a Tempur-Pedic to anyone. They cost several thousand dollars and talk about how great the warranty is....Well they do NOT stand behind their products at all. Terrible customer service.

My mattress isn't even 8yrs old and the sag in the middle of the bed is TERRIBLE!! It makes the worse night sleep EVER!
I've been in contact with the warranty department for the past week and it's been the WORST EXPERIENCE ever. There's no direct line to call them at, they seem like they just copy paste paragraphs and don't actually want to rectify the issue.
My mattress clearly shows at least an 1" sag in the direct middle of the mattress and the warranty person Sam T. Declared my mattress doesn't fit under the warranty claim. I paid almost $2500 on my mattress and it can't even last 8yrs and they're not willing to rectify the issue of what a terrible mattress they offer is a joke!
This whole experience makes me want to tell anyone thinking of buy a Tempur Pedic to stay clear of them. They don't last, and when the mattress goes bad before the warranty phases they do everything in their power to make sure they don't have to replaces the faulty mattress they offer!

DO NOT BUY TEMPUR-PEDIC! Are you tired of a company that claims one thing but does another? A company that last year had $1.3 billion in sales and still does not appreciate their customers. My wife and I have had this bed for less than 5 years and they are REFUSING to honor their warranty. Last year it started sagging on the sides and they said that it wasn't enough to qualify for a warranty replacement. We contacted them again for the same warranty, that was now significantly worse, a few weeks ago…this time, they voided the warranty. They said that the mattress was too "dirty" and the warranty is now voided. They are claiming that there is liquid damage, which is completely false. We spoke with Lauren from their escalation team, which is apparently their team that is in place to be an impenetrable wall for customers who would like the promises that they were told when buying, to be honored. Lauren is an extremely rude individual who refuses to honor the warranty that we were promised. Looking at the Better Business Beurau you will see that they have MANY complaints regarding this exact issue, them not honoring their warranty claims. We spend over $3000 on this bed for it to not even last five years. Their warranty department and policies are set up so that you cannot get a replacement as they promise when you buy the bed. Their beds are not made to last as they used to be and they will find any reason to void your warranty. Do not buy from them unless you want to be lied to and manipulated all while spending money on a bed that will not last as long as they claim.

I had a disappointing experience with TEMPUR-PEDIC and Mattress Firm. I purchased a mattress and adjustable bed frame, but when the second mattress arrived, it was too firm for my liking. I was told I needed to wait 30 days for a return, but then I was informed that the return was denied because the tag was supposedly removed-something I did not do. Additionally, the delivery team scratched my hardwood floor by dragging the mattress across it. The salesperson was kind, but I was unable to reach a manager through the email provided, as it went unanswered. I even tried contacting Tempur-Pedic directly for assistance, but they were unhelpful as well. Given that I invested over $5,000, I am quite disappointed with the service. I cannot recommend this company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I've owned this mattress for a little less than a month.
-FLOOR MODEL
When I laid on this mattress in the store, it was perfect! The exact right amount of softness for me and exact right amount of firmness for my husband. HOWEVER, the sales rep. warned me the mattress will take about 90 days to break in and feel like the floor model and that is why they suggest waiting 90 days before considering returning or exchanging the mattress.
-NEW MATTRESS FIRMNESS
To put it plainly, it's terrible. According to the Tempur-Pedic website, the only way to break in the mattress is to sleep on it nightly. Had I know I'd pay a few grand for little sleep, I might have considered going with a different mattress.
-EXTREME FIRMNESS IS EXPECTED
According to both Tempur-Pedic website and the sales rep., the extreme firmness is expected until a gel or foam mattress is broken in.
-CONCLUSION
I give this two stars because I struggle to sleep on such a firm mattress. To break it in costs sleep (and money because this was a large purchase). I'm hopeful it pays off in 90 days and feels like the floor model at the store.
